Baby Loss Collective
ABOUT THE BABY LOSS COLLECTIVE
The Baby Loss Collective brings together grassroots baby loss charities, support groups, and community organisations from across the UK to create a stronger, more connected network. Through our dedicated WhatsApp community, collaborative events, and networking opportunities, we provide a space for organisations to share knowledge, resources, experiences, and best practice. By working together, we aim to amplify the voices of smaller charities, encourage meaningful partnerships, reduce duplication of effort, and ultimately strengthen the support available to bereaved families. Together, we are building a united community that champions collaboration, advocacy, and positive change within the baby loss sector.
WHY WE EXIST
The Baby Loss Collective exists because we recognise the vital role that small grassroots baby loss charities and support groups play in supporting bereaved families. Despite their impact, many organisations work in isolation, often facing similar challenges with limited resources and opportunities to collaborate. We believe that by bringing these organisations together, we can create a stronger, more connected community where knowledge, experience, and support are shared freely. Through collaboration rather than competition, we can amplify our collective voice, strengthen support for families affected by baby loss, and work together to drive meaningful change across the sector.

Compassion
Everything we do is centred on improving the experiences of bereaved families.
Collaboration
We believe collaboration is stronger than competition. By working together, we amplify our collective voice and increase our ability to influence change.
Respect
Every member organisation brings valuable knowledge, expertise, lived experience and professional insight. We respect each other's perspectives and recognise the
important contribution every member makes to the sector.
Integrity
We communicate honestly, transparently and professionally, always acting in the best interests of bereaved families and the Collective.
Inclusivity
We are committed to representing every form and circumstance of pregnancy and baby loss and to ensuring that all bereaved families feel seen, heard and valued.
Independence
Each member organisation retains its own identity, governance, priorities and areas of expertise whilst contributing to the shared aims of the Collective.
